Trish Shermot is a change agent with over 20 years in the credit union industry. From a credit union marketing evangelist, to a public television host, to a senior leader—Trish’s experience is heavily weighted in driving change for the organizations she has worked with. As a Filene Research Institute Innovator, Trish has also worked on projects across the country that are forward thinking and changing the way credit unions present products and services.
During her tenure at CTCE Federal Credit Union the credit union received various awards due to her leadership, these include three time winner of both the Dora Maxwell Award, The Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action and several communications awards. Trish has also been nominated for the CUES Marketer of the Year and is a Toastmaster with a Competent Communicator designation.
Trish recently presented at the World Council of Credit Unions Conference in Gdansk, Poland and has presented Marketing Segmentation session for the CUNA Marketing Council, Credit Union Executives Society, Credit Union Insurance Society, Reinsel LLC and the Pennsylvania Credit Union League.
Trish is instrumental in bringing new products and services to the credit union community through strategic and branching initiatives. Her experience in securing grant funding and working with community partners to collaborate on projects that benefit all has been noted by her recent project for year round public television programming in partnership with CUNA and the Schuylkill Valley Chapter of Credit Unions.
